About The Plastic Forming Company

Established in 1966 the Plastic Forming Company is a pioneer in the design and manufacture of blow molded products.  Since 1989, a significant portion of PFC has been owned by its employees through an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP). So when you call PFC, you’re talking to “one of the owners” – no matter who you speak with – and that makes a big difference.

With an in-house design team, and manufacturing at both their Connecticut headquarters and Massillon, Ohio factory, PFC has the ability to offer their customers a wide variety of blow molding capabilities including the production of stock cases which can be customized to for most applications.  Whether you are looking for a custom molded interior, custom foam, fully custom case or a simple stock case – PFC Cases can meet your needs.

All PFC products are made in the USA and are molded from tough, recyclable high-density polyethylene (HDPE).  No other material even comes close to HDPE when it comes to impact, resistance to solvents and oils, and durability.

PFC Launches Growler Getter Growler Tote

The Plastic Forming Company (PFC), long recognized as a leader in the design and manufacture of blow-molded plastic products announces the launch of the PFC Growler Getter Growler Tote. PFC’s Growler Tote has been designed to comfortably accommodate two 64 oz. growlers and at only 1.3 lbs the Growler Getter is light and easy to transport. The Growler Getter’s handle is engineered to be used with a vehicle’s seat belt system to securely hold it in place preventing spillage. As an added benefit, Growler Getter’s interior has space for ice or cooling packs to help keep your favorite brew cold on the ride home. In the unlikely case that a growler or cap is damaged Growler Getter’s interior cavity can safely hold up to 128 oz of liquid. The Growler Getter will be available at select microbreweries and retail outlets as well as on the web at Amazon.com, eBay and PFC Website. PFC plans to release a Growler Getter for 32 oz growlers later in the year.

“As the general public’s interest in craft brews has increased PFC realized that we are in a position to take advantage of this growth by offering a product that is unique in the marketplace”, states John Womer, President of PFC.

According to the Brewers Association the number of microbreweries and brew pubs in the U.S. grew from 1,521 in 2008 to over 3,200 in 2014. Craft breweries account for 14.3 percent of the $100 billion United States beer market.

As with all PFC products the Growler Getter is designed and manufactured in the USA using materials sourced only from domestic manufacturers. The Plastic Forming Company employs more than 50 people between their Woodbridge, CT headquarters and manufacturing facility and their Massillon, OH factory. The PFC Growler Getter is made of lightweight high density polyethylene plastic (HDPE) and is fully recyclable.
