If you’re looking for a carrying case to package your portable product and you spend a few minutes searching the Internet, you’ll find hundreds of companies ready to work with you. And, at the end of the day, you’ll likely end up with something suitable.
But there is a world of difference between finding “something suitable” and working with PFC to design the very best case possible for your application. You should expect, and your product deserves, more than just a generic box that is about the right size with a few rectangular pockets inside to hold the contents and a handle outside to carry it around. PFC cases add real value – by offering superior protection, by enhancing your brand identity, and often by making your product more convenient to use in the hands of your customer.

Over the last 60 years, we’ve made cases for hundreds of different companies to package over 5,000 very different products and we’ve learned a lot along the way. Experience has taught us to design the smallest case possible. That not only reduces the unit price of the case, it lowers our customer’s warehousing and shipping costs as well. And to ensure that we always have just the right size, we’ve invested more than $5 Million building the most comprehensive system of modular standard molds available anywhere. Experience has also taught us to ask a lot of questions, because each customer has unique needs. When a U.S. manufacturer of sophisticated non-destructive test equipment needed cases to package multiple products, we invented and patented a novel “adapter” insert to put all of them in the same basic case – reducing the number of SKUs involved, simplifying their inventory requirements and lowering their costs.
Five years ago, issues arising out of the Covid-19 pandemic forced U.S. businesses to take a hard look at ways they could make their supply chains more reliable and more resilient. Now, five years later, tariff related supply chain disruptions are exposing the same systemic issues. The old proverb “For want of a nail” again comes to mind. Even if your supply chain is simple – even if it really isn’t a chain at all – choosing a supplier who will deliver what you need, where and when you need it, is essential. And at PFC, that’s what we do.
